2004

In 2004 the distinctly two-colour logo of red/khaki was introduced

Almost 60,000 T-shirts were sold, with the rise in online shopping we sold 7,000 T-shirts via the internet, phone and mail order.

The legendary Paul Smith created FTBC’s first limited edition designer T-shirt for the 2004 campaign and our biggest retail partner Marks & Spencer produced a FTBC range for the first time.

The Art of Fashion, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer’s inaugural gala event, was extremely successful raising £210,000 and gaining much media coverage.

Our advertising featured the stunning supermodel Elle Macpherson who was  photographed by Ellen von Unwerth.   Elle also proved to be a very articulate spokeswoman for the campaign.  This year we had a Smart Car wrapped in Elles image. The campaign raised over £1.4 million.
